It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard A. Surdam of Galeton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee G. Surdam and Margaret M. Steadman Surdam; and his siblings, Bonnie Lee Doud, Faye Hooker, Thomas G. Surdam, Gary Surdam and Gordon R. Surdam.
He is survived by: his former wife Vanessa Dapp; and his stepchildren, Alicia Baker Worytko, Dustin Baker, Chad Shuemaker, Joshua Shuemaker and Lacy Shuemaker. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
