She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha May Swigart-Millard and Thomas Earl Millard; her husband James Elwood Stoltzfus; her siblings, Vera Mae and Eugene "Genie" Millard; her stepdaughter Beverly Ann Weir; her stepson-in-law Ronald James Weir; and her granddaughter Candice Nicole Weir.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Ann (Glenn Earl Bailey), Carolyn Grace (Peter DiStefano), Janine Marie (Mark Wilkin) and Gina (Thomas James Stoltzfus). She is also survived by grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bellevue Presbyterian Church (810 Newport Ave, Gap, PA 17527). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Verna's memory to Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community: Kinsman Fund at 625 Robert Fulton HIghway, Quarryville, PA 17566.
