He is survived by: his sons, Glenn Carey, Jr. and Kenneth Carey of Newville; his grandson Glenn Carey III; his great grandchild Glenn Carey IV; and his siblings, Larry Carey of Carlisle and Caroline Carey of Dillsburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
