He was predeceased by : his parents, Axel Olaf and Anna Kirkpatrick Blomgren; his wife Jeraldine "Jerri" Blomgren; and his siblings, Ralph Blomgren (Marylou), Albert Blomgren (Hannah), David Blomgren (Margaret), Edith Fritz (Herbert) and Richard Blomgren (Bettylou).

He is survived by : his children, Maureen Blomgren, Patrick Blomgren (Shaida) and Laura Blomgren; his sister Anna DiVito; his grandchildren, Kamron and Meela Blomgren; and his close friend Sis Marra.
