He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Dolores Motz Pauly; his wife Lecia "Lee" Pauly; and his siblings, Dorothy Carey and William Pauly.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Lee Pauly (Kimberly), Susan A. Bookout (Arthur), Cheryl Czajka (Edward) and Sandra Reynolds (Jeffrey). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
