It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil S. Hummel of Geigertown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Neil S. Hummel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Hummel and Evelyn Hummel (Strunk); and his brothers, Brian and David Hummel. He is survived by: his children, Todd Hummel, Becky Morris, Sean Hummel, Rachel Ingram and Mark Hummel; his former wife Phyllis Hummel (Ganter); and his close friend Barbara Henn. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. (2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn, PA 19606). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery (650 Fritztown Rd, Sinking Spring, PA 19608).
