He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Judson Foust and Joseph Charles Foust. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughter Natalie Shaffer (Koy); his granddaughter Eleanor; and his sisters, Libby Foust (Dorothy Elizabeth), Kathy Warner (Jere), Julie Volpe (Don) and Jennifer Schwartz (Thaddeus). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew.
