It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Birdie Mae Bryan of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 11, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Plank and Sarah Plank (Funt); her husband Harold C.; her grandfather Bryan; her children, Anna Nye and Charles Wetzel; her grandson David Mummert, Jr.; and her siblings, Ruth Kelley, Paul Plank, Jr., Eleanor Hoffman, Charles Plank and Mary Shultz.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Wetzel, Jr. of McKnightstown, PA, Elizabeth Mummert of Thomasville, PA, Becky Weikert of Gettysburg and Carl Wetzel of Gettysburg. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens (1380 Chambersburg Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
