It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Kay Maddox in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick and Julia Cliffadean Forrest; her husband Harry Douglas Maddox; her siblings, Kathy Forrest, Joyce Buhrman, Debra Jean Forrest and Charles Forrest Jr.; and her nephew Jason Maddox.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louann Toms (Charles), Charlene Forrest, Trudy Green (Kevin Rice), Laura Williams (Jay Williams), Wanda Abe (Brian Abe), Denise LeMaster (Ronnie) and Donnie Hubble; and her caregivers, Barbara May and Laura.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (91 Willis St, Westminster, MD 21157). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM.
