He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley Irene Witter (Reever); his parents, Bruce Emanuel and Frances Elizabeth Witter (Harman); his daughter Cathy Witter; and his grandson Cody Zartman.

He is survived by: his children, Peggy Zartman, Linda Small (Ron) and Bruce E. Witter; and his grandchildren, Ty Muhly, Harley Small, Nikki Small, Jerry Zartman and Lacey Zartman-Anderson. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
