He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl S. Bittinger and Doris Wolf Bittinger; and his sister Janice Kevern. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sites Bittinger; his son David Michael Bittinger of Westport, CT; his grandchildren, Isabella Rose Bittinger and Chase Michael Bittinger; his sister Patricia Bittinger Shanfeld; and his nephews, Adam Shanfeld, Alex Shanfeld, Mark Kevern and Jon Kevern.
