In the sacred silence of farewell, Christopher is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Christopher's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his parents, Ernest McDermott and JoAnn M. McDermott (Burkett); his wife Katherine (Maurer); his sons, Christopher G. McDermott and Ayden M. McDermott; and his siblings, Ernest McDermott, Jr. and Tanya Goldsmith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (269 Frederick St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
