She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald M. Tarbell and Patricia Ann Smith Yarock; and her brother John Tarbell. She is survived by: her husband Arthur William Thies; her brother Michael A. Tarbell (Carey); her nephew John Tarbell; her niece Chloe Tarbell; and her aunt Barbara Martykan.
