He was predeceased by: his parents, George N. Blevins and Stella M. Blevins (Rash); and his siblings, Beatrice Mundy, Sarah Hash, William Blevins, Helen Agee, Joyce Robinson and Peggy Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia J. Blevins (Schlegel) of Gettysburg; his sons, David W. Blevins (Rebecca) of Gettysburg, PA and Adam P. Blevins (Michelle) of Gettysburg, PA; his grandchildren, Michaela Blevins, Brianna Pater (Matthew), Christopher Blevins and Autumn Blevins; and his brother Ronald N. Blevins of Oak Hill, WV. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (60 E High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Adamsburg Cemetery (401 Elm St, Beaver Springs, PA 17812).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 East High St., Gettysburg, PA 17325.
