He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas and Martha Thomas (Carter); his son Robert Barnett; and his siblings, Mary Louise "Beezie" Perez, David and Edward Thomas.
He is survived by: his close friend Norma L. Littleton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
