He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hewitt and Hilda Hewitt; his stepson Kenneth Baldwin; and his siblings, Lois Fellers, Kerri, Dennis, Ronald, David and Sharon Hewitt.

He is survived by: his wife Carla Hewitt (Loftis); his sons, Chris, Tommy and Seth Hewitt; his stepdaughter Kelly Baldwin-Rayner; his grandson Kyle; and his siblings, Colleen, Laurel, James, Sandra Hewitt and Donna Wetzel.

Memorials can be made in Eric's name to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Blvd, Suite 600, Arlington, VA 22209.
