She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Geraldine Armedda Smith; her son Mike Whitmore; and her grandson Adam Gilmore. She is survived by: her husband John Warren Gilmore; her children, Dawn (Brad Sechler), Phillip Whitmore (Diann), Donna (Marc Haines), Jill Gilmore, Rick (Gracie Gilmore) and Jim (Patty Hull); her grandchildren, Karley Cook (Taylor), Valerie Burns (Mike), Neal Haines (Jessica), Kimberly Smith-Fuentes (Ian) and Bradley Gilmore (Chelsea); and her sister Shelvia Fox. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
