He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Kelley and Ruth Plank Kelley. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Redding Kelley; his children, Christine Ratcliff (Mark) and Michael Kelley (Sherry); his grandchildren, Madeline Lawrence (Theron), Josh Kelley, Molly Ratcliff, Alisha Kelley, Peter Ratcliff and Ryan Kelley; his great grandchildren, Parker Lawrence and Harper Rissmiller; and his siblings, Nancy Reichart and Richard Kelley.
