He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles N. Lauer and Mildred J Paules (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Lauer (Chronister); his children, Bois (Philippe) of Gettysburg and John T. Lauer II (Anna) of Lititz; his grandchildren, Andrew, Melanie, Bois, Ashlyn, Jett, Jaxon and Avrianna Lauer; his sisters, Melinda J. Meckley of York and Stephanie A. Lauer of York; and his brother-in-law Rodney Bickert of Mechanicsburg.
