With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Wood Jr. of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Wood and Aileene Wood (Lewis); his brother Harry Wood; and his sister-in-law Anna of Karthaus, PA.. He is survived by : his wife Brenda Wood (Sanders); his children, Dawn Cook (Tim) of Aspers, John Wood, III (Mindi) of Biglerville and Derek Wood (Jen) of Littlestown; his sister Mary Carson (Don) of Gerrardstown, WV; his grandchildren, Robbie, Sheena, Sierra, Kinsey, Daniel, Elijah, Andrew, Heidi and Haylee; his stepgranddaughters, Maggie and Katie; his great grandchildren, Laylynn, Willow, Isaiah, Amelia and Nora; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Constance and Brynleigh.
