We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 84, Joseph J. Bodisch Sr. of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joseph may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bodisch and Anna Bodisch (Sinko); his wife Laura Ann Bodisch (Lutte); and his brother John Bodisch. He is survived by: his children, Joseph J. Bodisch, Jr. (Christine (Knisley)), Michael J. Bodisch (Mary Rose (Good)), Brenda Ann Baumgardner (Mark) and Lee Ann Derr (Brian). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
