We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Josephine S. Schmidt of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Josephine S. Schmidt to show support.

She was predeceased by : her husband James McGee; her parents, Layton Shiflett and Anna Shiflett (Haney); her son Kenny Long; and her siblings, Lorraine, Mabel and Clyde.

She is survived by : her children, Dennis E. Long of Brooksville, Jerry D. McGee (Tina) of Gettysburg and Judy Talbert of Berkely Springs, WV; and her sisters, Elizabeth, Virginia and Florence. She is also survived by four grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, three grand dogs.

Memorial contributions may be made to Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
