With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Marie Butterfield (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on October 22, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Judith departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Judith. Though Judith may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris S. Voiselle Robinson and William S. Voiselle. She is survived by: her husband John; her daughter Kristin Butterfield Vickery; her son-in-law Stuart Cleveland Vickery; her grandchildren, Thomas Drumm Vickery and Catherine Aurelia Vickery; and her sisters, Lynda Robinson Snider, Mary Helen Robinson Godfrey and Holly Robinson Simonini. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forever Love Rescue of Gettysburg, Mercy House of Chambersburg, and the Adams County Arts Council.
