He was predeceased by: his parents, S. Franklin Swope and Ruth Swope (Bucher); his wife Charlotte Swope (Winebrenner); and his siblings, Betty Johnson, Jane Blosser, Ruth Ann Rodgers, Sam Swope, Richard Swope and Dave Swope.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah S. Raffensperger (Charles) of Gettysburg, Cheri Kershner of Warrenton, VA and Cindy Critchlow (James) of Orrtanna, PA; his grandsons, Ryan Raffensperger (Kristi) of Gettysburg and Marc Raffensperger (Cynda) of Fair Haven, NJ; and his great grandchildren, Caton, Brody and Aidan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
