She is survived by: her children, Caroline Jones (Steve Haugen), Deanna Demaree (Tom Demaree) and Michael Pastick (Dion Pastick); and her siblings, Richard Basham, Tom Basham, Paul Basham (Ethel) and Carol Vanderhoof. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

“I am 78 and I was given Lory's little devotional book "Hearing God" in 1994 by a dear friend and have used it everyday since. It's cover is all tattered and frayed. The inside pages are dog-eared and written on with notes and dates that spoke to me on specific days, but today (July 15, 2026) I felt led to search for her on the internet. I found the surprise that, just this year, she went to to be with our Jesus!! God Blessed all of you by giving her to you as your Mother!”
