We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2025, at the age of 94, Margaret Blanchard Curtis (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Margaret Blanchard may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Margaret Blanchard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Blanchard and Harriet McCurdy Blanchard; her husband Dr. Robert E. Curtis; and her sister Ann McCurdy Blanchard Bovbjerg. She is survived by: her stepsons, Allan E. Curtis (Hazel) of Chittenango, NY, Garry R. Curtis (Lisa) of England and William B. Curtis (Mary Ellen) of Towson, MD; and her siblings, David Blanchard of Hingham, MA, Jane Shapley of Malahat, BC and Irene Blanchard of LaConner, WA.. She is also survived by four step-grandchildren, six step great grandchildren, four step great great grandchildren.
