We bid farewell to Philip M. Cole of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 5, 2025 at the age of 80. Philip touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. Cole and Catherine Cole (Codori); and his siblings, Patricia O'Brien, Robert Cole, Richard Cole, Thomas Cole and Edwin Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Claar Cole; his daughters, Renee Tuthill of Jensen Beach, FL and Kerry Smith (Ryan) of Ocean Pines, MD; his grandchildren, Cole Tuthill and Bella Tuthill of Jensen Beach, FL; and his brothers, Ken Cole of Buchanan Valley, PA, William Cole of New Oxford, PA, David Cole (Henrietta) of Blue Bell, PA and James Cole (Ann) of Gettysburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (25 W High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Adams County Historical Society, 625 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
