He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Patricia A. Hoover (Wilt); his children, Joseph E. (Debra), William A., Theresa M. and Karen E. Hoover; his grandson Mahlon D. Bender; his brother Lynn E. Hoover; and his brother-in-law Robert E. Wilt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
