He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde C. DeHaas and Dorothy DeHaas (Williams); his wife Shirley K. DeHaas; his daughter Beverly Bayer; and his siblings, John DeHaas and H. Louise Devitt.
He is survived by: his children, John DeHaas (Carol) of York, PA, Marsha Boehner of Gettysburg and Kristina DeHaas of Gettysburg; his grandchildren, Britney, Andrew, Allison, Liz and Jim; and his great grandchildren, Harlee, Jax, Addie and Lincoln.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monahan Funeral Home (125 Carlisle St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
