Alvin leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alvin’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Alvin will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Erd and Harry Erd; and his brother Howard Erd. He is survived by: his brother Philip M. Erd; his nephews, Ronald Erd (Bobbie) and Steven Erd; his great-nephews, Matthew, Benjamin and Joshua; and his great-niece Maya Erd.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Poale Zedeck Memorial Park (5744 Meridian Rd, Gibsonia, PA 15044).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
