Jared M. Schmidt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jared M. Schmidt (Gibsonia, Pennsylvania), born in Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father-in-law William Basey of Daisytown, PA; and his grandparents, Daryl, Ada Markley of Bucyrus, Ross and Donna Schmidt of Hartville, Ohio..

He is survived by: his wife Mandy; his parents, Bob Schmidt and Karen Schmidt of Allison Park, PA; his siblings, Rob Schmidt (Julie Horstman) and Julie Crossley (Pete); his siblings' children, Madison and Wyatt of Anderson, Indiana; his mother-in-law Ruth Basey of Daisytown, PA; and his sister-in-law Crystal Basey (Harry Kassler). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton Presbyterian Church (2942 E Hardies Rd, Gibsonia, PA 15044). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
