Lisa M. Simakas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lisa M. Simakas of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Lisa is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Lisa's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Nancy Remaley of Oakmont; her husband Greg Simakas; her children, Paige Simakas of Dallas, TX and Justin Simakas (Eden Fletcher) of Allison Park; her aunt Donna Gillette of Safety Harbor, FL.; and her stepsiblings, Becky Miceli (John), Sue Marinzel (Eddie) and Paul Remaley.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Crowe Ave, Mars, PA 16046). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Orchard Hill Church (2551 Brandt School Rd, Wexford, PA 15090).
