We announce the death of Richard Silvester of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 85. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Silvester and Lena DeSalle Silvester. He is survived by: his wife Jane Stirling Silvester; his children, David R. Silvester (Lori), Amy E. McKaveney (Edward) and Jennifer L. Hall (Christopher); his grandchildren, Kate Bergman (Brevin), Harrison Silvester, Reid Hall and Maria McKaveney; his sister Sylvia McKeever; and his sister-in-law June Stirling. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
