He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ruby and Susan Ruby (Ramsey); and his brothers, Roy, Paul W. and Donald "Herky" Ruby.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Bernesser Ruby; his children, Donald W. Ruby (Colleen) and Casandra A. Szymanski (Mark); and his grandchildren, Zachary and Caitlyn.
