We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Wayne Spear of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Norman Flett Spear and Marian Rebecca Ormiston Spear. He is survived by: his brother Wendell; his wife Mary Grace McCracken; and his children, David Norman (Donna) of Johnstown, PA, Barbara Ellen (Wade) of Quinter, KS, Samuel Nathan (Meg) of Pittsburgh, PA, Jenelle Elizabeth (Dave) of Columbus, IN. and Amy Troup (Calvin) of Beaver Falls, PA. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schellhaas Funeral Home (1600 Stone Mansion Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown (5825 Heckert Rd, Bakerstown, PA 15007).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to RPTS (rpts.edu/give (https://www.rpts.edu)) in honor of Wayne Spear.
