He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles M. Rutcosky and Susan T. Rutcosky (Micewicz); and his siblings, Patricia Klein, Susan Hartley and Michael Rutcosky.

He is survived by : his wife Debbie W. Rutcosky (Wojy) of Stroudsburg, PA.; his son Stephen A. Rutcosky (Amanda Kohberger) of Stroudsburg, PA; his siblings, Karen Schwindenhammer (Thomas) of Coplay, PA, Margaret "Peggy" York of Bridgeville, DE and Richard Rutcosky (Lorna) of Lehighton, PA; and his niece Susan Lantzer of Ocala, FL..
