He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph B. Shainline II and Hazel A. Shainline (Himes); and his brothers, William E. Shainline Sr. and John Shainline. He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his sons, David Shainline Jr. and Alan Shainline (Kimberly); his siblings, Joe Shainline III, Ann Dearnley (Joe) and Sara Seyler (Timothy); and his grandsons, Connor, Collin and Jake.
