She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Gilliland and Ethel Gilliland (Rabell). She is survived by : her husband George Ackerman; her sons, Jon, Kevin (Keri), Scott (Dan) and Timothy Ackerman (Chelsea); her sisters, Betty Lou Klindienst (Dave) and Mary Ann Tronetti; her grandchildren, Ashley Friedman, Kira, Kaylin, Mackenzie, Olivia, Collin and James Ackerman; and her great grandchild Arbor Knowlton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to WLD Ranch, 7351 Woolsey Road, Girard, PA.
