He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Sydow and Letha Sydow (Stiffler); his sister Virginia Brainard; and his great grandchild Jayden Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Gelsomina Sydow (Bartosek); his children, Jeffrey Sydow (Kristi), Cindy Sydow-Webber, Randy Sydow and Darrin Sydow; his stepchildren, Chuck Bateman (Tammy), Jody Bateman (Debi), Kathleen Orr (John) and Doug Bateman (Christine); his brother Wilbur Sydow (Karen); his grandchildren, Stephen Webber, Deanne Webber-Campbell, Bradley Webber (Megan), Brandy Bowers, Carrie Nakhla (David), Amber Kilgore (Caleb), Caitlynn Turnbull (Bradley), Matthew Orr, Austin Bateman, Emily Bateman and Kaleigha; and his great grandchildren, Destiny, Daisy, Nolan, Blake, Skylar, Molly, Braxton and Cailey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edder Family Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
