With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Lucille Oakes of Girard, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Ingold and Hertha Ingold (Schroeder); her siblings, Janet Murray and Jim Ingold; her nephew Kevin Murray; and her niece Dawn Owen.
She is survived by: her daughter Allison Steiner; her grandchildren, Hannah, Brantley, Madison and Wyatt; her siblings, John Ingold, Joanne Washabaugh (Paul) and Jane Ingold; and her pet Gunner.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edder Family Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name may be made to the Girard High School Cheerleaders, 1135 Lake Street, Girard, PA 16417, as Jean's granddaughter is a squad member.
