He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph O'Leary, Sr. (Joe) and Edna Allene O'Leary (Strodmeyer); his brother Dr. John (Jack); and his former wife Colette O'Leary (Chenebi). He is survived by: his wife Margaret O'Leary (Peggy); his sisters, Martha Gette (Richard) and Kathleen Moylan (George) of North East, PA; his children, Marie O'Leary-Stark (Paul) of Orange Village, OH, Bridget Smith (Erich) of Newport Beach, CA, Ellen Collins (Dennis) of Painesville, OH and J. Timothy O'Leary III of Owego, NY.; his grandchildren, Jeremy Stark (GinaMarie), Carly Stark, Kayleigh Collins, Brielle Collins, John O'Leary, Juniper Smith, Bea Smith and Winifred Smith; and his aunt Dr. Bertha P. O'Leary. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A family service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at the Edder Funeral Home (309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Parish (1001 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417).
