We announce the death of LaVern Grettler of Girard, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 11, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Grettler and Pearl Grettler (Platz); his wife Elaine Grettler (Herhold); and his siblings, Wilma Sparber, Howard and Paul Grettler.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Lance (Ron), Barry Grettler (Debbie) and Rodney Grettler (Rose Anne); and his grandchildren, Michael Grettler (Erin), Nicholas Grettler, Christopher Grettler (Whitney), Patrick Grettler, Shawn Grettler, Gia Grettler, Diora Grettler, Cory Lance and Stephen Lance. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
