He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene F. Brooks and Patricia L. Brooks (Padgett); his wife Carol Brooks (Kruse); and his father-in-law Ed Kruse. He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Hudacky (Jim), Mary McDonald (Guy), Alice Goodwill (Galen), Tom Brooks, Patty Drury (Mike), Eddy Kruse (Sally), Betsy Dworek (Chris) and Terry Williams (Art); his mother-in-law Gretchen Kruse; and his aunt Carol Brooks. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
