With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald M. Swope of Girard, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Brent Swope and Dorothy Swope (Arnold); his daughters, Patricia and Lisa Swope; his brothers, Ryan and David Swope; and his sister-in-law Brenda Metta Plummer.

He is survived by : his daughters, Sondra Hoskins (Tim), Bobbie Esser (John), Jodie McCutcheon (Paul) and Andrea Gordon; his grandchildren, Wes, Nicole Tenney, Roman, Kayla, Johnna, Buddy, Heather, Zack and Tanner; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Jillian Tenney, Jacob Perry, Athena, Jimmy Jr., Hailey and Gabriel; and his siblings, Darryl, Douglas, Bill, Bud, Robin, Dennis, Joyce and Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Burton Funeral Home (525 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
