Brenda Gilbert Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2025, at the age of 84, Brenda Gilbert of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Drake and Tressie Drake; her dear Charlene McGuire (Gordon); her husband Dr Robert P. Gilbert; and her stepchildren, Robert P. Gilbert Jr. (Tina), Diane Murphy (Albert) and Betsy Gilbert.
She is survived by: her significant other Yvonne Amble (Charles); her children, Jane Gilbert (Vinnie Camizzi) and Clark Gilbert; and her stepdaughter Nancy Murphy (Steve). She is also survived by The youngest of three sisters.
Memorial donations in memory of Brenda may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
