He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pierce and Katharine Hogan Pierce; his former wife Bernadette; his sisters, Helen Harte, Joan Koba and Kay Stein; and his grandson Benjamin.
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Tom, Bill, Nell and Honey; his children, Dr. Kathleen Pierce, Michael Pierce, Rosemary Pierce, Lisa Pierce, Mary Ellen Pierce, Thomas Pierce (Jackie) and Eileen Wilkins (Kenny); and his close friend Patience Mauger. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, one great grandchild.
