He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E. Arters and Doris Arters (Hannum); his wife Deborah Brown Arters; his sisters, Judy Crow (Bill) and Louise Arters; and his brother-in-law Dan Smith (Judy).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Arters Votta (Richard) and Gerald Jr. (Heather); his siblings, Lee Arters Sr. (Erica), Wallace Arters, Jr., Janet Duckworth (Mark) and Rosemary Arters; his siblings-in-law, Judy Smith and Bill Crow; his grandchildren, Matthew Arters (Devon), John Votta, Kaitlyn Votta (Buck Goggin), Jake Arters and Meghan Arters; and his great grandchild Robin Reid Arters. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to the Jerry and Debbie Arters Theatre Scholarship.
