He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonzo Sproul and Mildred Sproul (Hardiman); and his sister Jane Brecht. He is survived by: his wife Bertie Brooks Sproul; his children, Susan Fetsko (David), John Sproul Jr. and Sharon Wenner (Rick); his grandchildren, Justin (Elena), Alexandra (Steve), Kyle, Jessica, Erika (Joe) and Sabrina (Kyle); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Joey and Bennett.
