She is survived by: her children, Michelle Van Horn (Patrick) and Michael Koperna (Chrissy); her sister Elaine Koperna (Francis); and her grandsons, Nicholas, Andrew Van Horn, Ethan, Mason and Derek Koperna.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kathy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
