He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Miller (Sala); his parents, Leroy Miller and Lizzie Miller; and his sister Melda Miller. He is survived by: his children, Alan Miller (Marilyn) of Downingtown, PA, Barbara Miller (Ron Eisenacher) of Aston, PA and Christine Layer (Tim) of Thornton, PA.; his grandchildren, Megan Dougherty (Sean), Ben Miller (Christine), Shannon Gamble (Adam Crellin), Erin Layer and Shane Layer; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Ada Dougherty, Riley, Caroline and Macie Miller.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in his memory to the Maris Grove Scholars Fund or the Maris Grove Resident Care Fund.
